New Changes in the Beach Family!

Well we've had an exciting week and a half in the Beach household. First of all we welcomed a new addition to our family. Sean Aaron Beach joined our family on Friday, August 26 at 2:10 p.m. He is such a blessing in our family. He weighed 7lbs and 11oz. and was 21 inches long. He had a slightly difficult birth as he was stuck so the had to use the vacuum to get him out. He is doing great now though! He eats like a champ and sleeps like a champ! The whole family loves him dearly. Bryson is especially fond of him and wants to hold him and talk to him frequently. Rowan thinks he's pretty cool and likes to poke around at him.

Today was also a big day for Bryson. Bryson had his first day of pre-school today. He was very excited when he woke up and remembered that he got to go to school today. He did a great job! He walked in there got out a puzzle and was ready to start the day. No tears or anything! He was especially excited because he got to use his backpack which he wanted to make sure he showed off for the pictures.

New addition

Well we are now settled into our new house...somewhat. We found out about a month ago that we are going to be adding a new addition to the family at the end of August. We will be having another boy! It was a bit of a shock at first, but we are excited to add to the family. I can't wait to see all the boys growing up together. Payton doesn't know what to think. She is worried about how she's going to keep up with all of these boys!

time flies...

Gosh, I guess time really flies when you're having fun! I am a little bit behind on posting (as usual). So quick update....the Beach family has bought a new house and will be closing on March 24. We are very excited, but a bit nervous as well because we have not sold our house yet.

Bryson, Rowan, and Marc are getting ready to celebrate their birthdays next week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday respecitively. We aren't actually going to have a party though until we move in to our new house, so it will be sometime in April. It's hard to believe our boys are already 3 and 1! It's amazing how fast they grow up. They have had a great winter so far. Bryson really enjoys the snow even though he doesn't get to play outside very much because it's been too cold. Rowan likes standing against the cold sliding glass door and looking out at the backyard. Bryson has been pretty healthy this winter with just a couple of small colds that haven't seemed to slow him down too much. Rowan has had a few more colds and he has had 3 of them turn into ear infections. He is currently taking medicine to clear up the most recent ear infections. He has started seeing a chiropractor to see if that will help to keep the ears cleared up. Bryson saw the same chiropractor when he was a year old after having several ear infections and he hasn't had an ear infection since! Hopefully it will help Rowan as well.

The boys love playing together. They are typical boys. They love playing rough! Bryson loves anything that he can take apart or can figure out in some way. He doesn't have much desire to work on letters or numbers yet, but knows all of his colors etc. He's very mechanical and has a fantastic memory and ability to figure things out. Rowan is happy go lucky, always smiling and laughing. He babbles all the time and will eat pretty much anything that you will give him!

Payton is enjoying school. She recently got her first American Girl doll and she is very excited. She loves playing with her brothers, especially Bryson because she can play a little rowdier with him. She also likes to play school with him. She does a lot of talking and he does a lot of "o.k.ing" while he is playing with his toys. They get along very well!

Austin is getting his permit next week and has already started his drivers ed courses. Boy how things have changed since I was in drivers ed! He is doing very well in school getting mostly A's and a few B's. I think high school must be treating him pretty well. He's so grown up!

Here are a few pics from lately...I will try to do better at posting more often!

Leaves, Leaves, Leaves

The leaves have just started to fall in our yard, but that first day we had to scoop up a little pile so that Payton and Bryson could jump around in them.

After playing in the leaves it of course was time for a nice long bath! This time it was Bryson and Rowan in the bath though! What cuties. They just love splashing around in there.

New floor!

We are still trying to sell our house, but in the meantime I couldn't stand our carpet anymore! Sooo last weekend my dad put in new flooring that we had purchased. I must say it looks pretty good!

The top pic is of the old old flooring. It was a poured floor which was apparently popular in the late 60's early 70's. WOW! Pretty special in the harvest gold color. Although I must say it's had new flooring put over the top of it and then ripped out and it's over 40 years old and it was still in great shape. Too bad it was so ugly! Anyway we put the new flooring in the entryway and the greatroom/dining room. A much needed improvement! Bryson keeps saying "Papa put in new floor?!" and poor Rowan just slides around on it when he crawls. He's starting to get the hang of it though!

Weekend away!

Over Labor Day weekend we always take a family trip to Lake Sara. My Aunt Bernice always enjoyed taking pictures of me in the morning with my bed head. Bryson has now graduated into the bed head stage!

Rowan just hanging out at the lake.

A few more photos of the lake.

That's my boy!

I swear Bryson is so like me! He can fall asleep anywhere!

In the first picture he was pretending to be asleep. He woke up one morning and came out to see me in the kitchen while I was making breakfast and decided to lay on the floor and catch a couple more zzz's. The other picture he just went back into my bedroom and was drinking a cup of milk and decided to go ahead and fall asleep. I guess he was really tired!
